This seems to go against all I know about NAT, routing, etc., as opening up my ASA on the outside from ANY to ANY causes an uneasy feeling. The only way to get Xbox Live working correctly, is to open everything up to the ASA from the outside and only then NAT specific ports to the Xbox itself, and create an incoming NAT translation for UDP 3330 (which isn't even a Xbox Live port, according to MS). I tried to create a rule that will do this, but it overlaps with my already in place UDP 3074 rule. UDP Port "3330" seems to not be translating correctly to UDP 3074.

The issue is, when I add an entry to allow Xbox Live into my ASA (outside_access_in), I have to add an entry to be "any any".instead of "any Xbox". I'm having a small issue with NAT in my ASA 5505, trying to connect to Xbox Live (there is another post similar to this on EE but it fails to answer my specific question).įirst, I have all of the Xbox Live ports in my ASA (as listed here: )
